Stefanie Mauney, PA-C
Stefanie Mauney is a physician assistant specializing in pain management, with a clinical focus on the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal and spine-related pain. She commonly treats patients with chronic neck and back pain, radiculopathy, arthritis, joint pain, and other musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions.
Stefanie earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University in 2012, followed by her Master of Medical Science/Physician Assistant degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2015.
She was drawn to pain management by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in her patients’ quality of life. She enjoys the combination of clinical medicine, anatomy, diagnostic testing, and procedural treatment, and especially values helping patients better understand the source of their pain and develop an individualized treatment plan to help them return to the activities they enjoy.
Stefanie’s philosophy is to treat the whole patient, not just the diagnosis or imaging findings. She believes one of the most important parts of being a healthcare provider is building trust with her patients, and she strives to create an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and discussing their concerns openly. Her goal is for every patient to leave their visit with a better understanding of their condition and a clear plan moving forward.
Outside of work, Stefanie enjoys spending time with her family and staying active. Much of her time is spent watching and participating in activities with her three children, and she also loves reading, traveling, and heading to the beach.
