Job Description
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records. Clinical duties may include taking and recording of vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and medication preparation as directed by the physician.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Clinical and Imaging Director
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP: None
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in Applied Science preferred.
EXPERIENCE: At least two years of medical assisting experience in a physician’s office or hospital; training in Orthopaedic assisting preferred.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: CMA certification required.

Job Description

SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP: None
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Athletic training required; Master of Science degree in athletic training preferred
EXPERIENCE: Prefer at least one year of athletic training experience in a physician’s office or hospital, but not required; training in Orthopaedic assisting preferred.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: BOC for athletic training required, South Carolina athletic training licensure recommended
