Melissa Fischer, PA-C

Melissa Fischer is a Physician Assistant specializing in total joint care at Lowcountry Orthopaedics, where she works alongside Dr. Eric Stem. She graduated from the Physician Assistant program at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, and is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA. Melissa is interested in all aspects of orthopedics and values the opportunity to help patients improve their quality of life. She especially enjoys helping patients restore mobility and return to the activities they enjoy, believing that orthopedic care supports not only physical health, but also confidence, independence, and overall well-being.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors and on the water, practicing yoga, and being with family and friends.
