Physician Assistant
Greg Beres, PA-C, ATC
Physician assistant and certified athletic trainer with 30 years of orthopaedic and sports medicine experience, focused on keeping patients active.

Greg Beres grew up outside of Detroit, Michigan, a lifelong fan of all teams Detroit and Michigan. His love of athletics led him to Grand Valley State University and a degree in Athletic Training. This was followed by nine years as an Athletic Trainer at Ohio University (M.S. in Athletic Training) and East Carolina University (ECU). At ECU, Greg learned that the Carolinas are truly Pirate Nation. Wishing to expand his role in patient care, Greg went on to graduate from the Wake Forest School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program.
Loving all things Greenville, NC, Greg spent 30 years providing orthopaedic and sports medicine care in a team-focused environment. For the last 11.5 years he worked in a solo physician-PA practice, where he maximized the available non-surgical options. The goal of the practice was to keep patients active!
Greg loves family time. He coached fast-pitch softball for twenty years and saw both daughters succeed at the collegiate level. He enjoys team sports and golf, and hopes to conquer pickleball with his wife, Wendy. Greg and Wendy have moved to South Carolina to be close to family, and Greg looks forward to being part of Lowcountry Orthopaedics and keeping our patients ACTIVE.
