JUSTIN T. RUNEY

Justin Runey is a Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine at Lowcountry Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his Master’s from the Medical University of South Carolina Physician Assistant Program.

A lifelong interest in sports and active living drew Justin to orthopedics, where he helps patients get back to the activities they enjoy. He treats patients of all ages, with a focus on knee and shoulder injuries, using both conservative and surgical treatment options, as well as care for tendon injuries, sprains, and certain fractures.

Justin’s goal is to accurately diagnose each condition and provide personalized treatment so every patient feels heard, understood, and supported in returning to their daily life and athletic pursuits.

Justin is a member of the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (SCAPA). Outside the office, he enjoys time with family outdoors, traveling, golf, and being on the water.
