Lowcountry Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is committed to our patients and our community’s needs during this challenging time. Providing a safe alternative to higher risk emergency rooms is one way our physicians feel that they can do their part. As a result, we are now seeing walk-in and call-ahead patients for urgent adult and pediatric orthopaedic care at our North Charleston location. This includes fractures, possible fractures and other extremity injuries. We will continue to provide services such as casting, x-ray, injections, and MRI as needed. Additionally, we are offering Telemedicine appointments, for more information please call our office.

“Every office includes entry screening, patient access only with outside visitor waiting, and daily staff health assessments. We feel that providing a low COVID-19 exposure option for those with urgent orthopaedic needs is the very best way we can support our community’s health and welfare,” shares Dr. James McCoy. “We are working hard to keep staffing in place to answer the phones, screen patients and deliver care.”
